Whether you’re looking for a new job, career or starting a new life in Canada, we welcome newcomers like you and tailor our services to meet your needs.
This event is open to All genders and all communities, races, ethnicities and religions.
At the Toronto Jobs Fair for Canadian Immigrants in Metro Hall, you will have an opportunity to get a job offer on the spot. Job seekers will also had access to a ‘coaching corner,’ pictured here, where they were able to receive interview tips from employment consultants.
Important Note: We offer employment opportunities to individuals who have limited or NO proficiency in the English language. Three Unions, our Job Fair participants, seek to hire and provide training for permanent positions that come with competitive salary packages. We will be able to help you in French, Ukrainian, Arabic, Spanish, Punjab, Tamil, Chinese, Persian, Romanian, Hungarian , Italian, Russian.

Part of the event is for employers and agencies that want to comply with the Ontario Human Rights Code. You will learn how removing requirements for Canadian work experience will help develop more diverse, inclusive workplaces, and also help recruit the best talent for the job. You will also learn how to support jobseekers and increase their opportunities to find work in their chosen field.
Ontario Human Rights Commission (OHRC) says that a strict requirement for Canadian experience is discriminatory and can only be used in limited circumstances. Not hiring someone because of where they worked before may be discrimination based on race, ancestry, colour, place of origin or ethnic origin.
7 Important Tips to Successfully Attend a Job Fair
Tailor your resume: Review the job openings listed by the participating employers and tailor your resume to highlight the skills and experiences that are most relevant to the positions you are interested in.
Practice your elevator pitch: An elevator pitch is a short, concise summary of your background and career goals. Practice your elevator pitch so you can clearly and confidently communicate your value to potential employers.
Dress for success: Make sure to dress in business casual attire for the job fair. This will show employers that you are professional and serious about finding a job.
Bring copies of your resume and other relevant documents: Bring several copies of your resume and any other documents that may be relevant to your job search, such as references or certificates. Also consider bringing a notepad and pen to take notes during the fair.
Prepare a list of questions to ask employers at the job fair. This will show them that you are interested in their company and have done your research.
