About Hourasa
Master Persian dance instructor Hourasa began learning this exquisite art at age 10 under legends like Soosan Shariati and Farzaneh Kaboli, performing at iconic venues such as Rudaki Hall in Iran. At 18, she discovered her passion for teaching children, developing a unique system that blends traditional Persian dance with ballet techniques learned after moving to Canada.
Her students have dazzled audiences at prestigious venues like the Aga Khan Museum, Royal Ontario Museum, and various cultural festivals. With decades of experience, Hourasa creates a nurturing and inspiring environment for children to explore Persian dance. Introduce your child to the beauty of Persian dance with a true master.
What We Learn in These Iranian Dance Workshops
These workshops offer children an exciting introduction to the enchanting world of Iranian
dance. Through guided lessons, they will learn fundamental movements and choreographed combinations perfect for gatherings and celebrations, all while enjoying a joyful and energetic atmosphere.
For children under the age of 7
, the instructor incorporates creative games that make learning fun and engaging. These games are specially designed to teach basic moves while keeping younger participants entertained.
Children aged 7 and up
will explore a more structured approach, emphasizing teamwork and collaboration. They’ll develop coordination, rhythm, and confidence while building friendships and sharing the joy of dance.

درباره هورآسا
هورآسا فراگیری رقص را به طور جدی در سن ده سالگی در ایران نزد اساتید برجسته ای مانند سوسن شریعتی و فرزانه کابلی آغاز کرد و طی سالیان در کنار این اساتید تجربه های رقص های صحنه ای برای بانوان در ایران را داشته است. در هجده سالگی عشق به تدریس این هنر اصیل ایرانی را با تدریس به کودکان و نوجوانان در خود کشف کرد و پس ازمهاجرت به کانادا و فراگیری سبک های مختلف باله سبک جدید و متفاوتی را در آموزش رقص ایرانی برای کودکان و نوجوانان خلق کرد تا عالوه بر آموزش زیبایی ها و اصالت این هنر، سالمت جسمانی و ماندگاری آموزش ها را نیز شامل شود. هنرجویان هورآسا در کانادا زیبایی های این هنر را در موزه ی آقاخان و موزه سلطنتی آنتاریو بارها و بارها به نمایش گذاشتند.
در این کارگاه ها چه یاد میگیریم:
این کارگاه ها به کودکان و نوجوانان فرصتی میدهد تا به جهان زیبا و اصیل رقص ایرانی وارد شوند. در این کارگاه ها حرکات پایه و بنیادین رقص ایرانی به صورت کالسه بندی شده به صورت بازی در گروه سنی های زیر 7 سال و کارگروهی به هنرجویان باالی 7 سال با متد تدریسی هورآسا آموزش داده میشوند. این کارگاه ها در فضایی شاد نه تنها شانس تجربه ای از فرهنگ زیبای هنر ایران را به فرزندانتان میدهد بلکه به آنها اجازه میدهد احساسات خود را از طریق رقص و بدن بیان کنند.
