Inspired by tradition of Sufisim, from Central Asia, Khorasan to Anatolia and beyond, to North America, dervishes of the North . . . musicians such as Amir Koushkani on Tar & vocal, Ali Razmi on Setar & Vocal, Sardar MJ on Oud & Zohreh Shahbazy on Daf and percussion, accompanied by friends such as Raqib Brian, Seemi Ghazi, Tanya Tawhida, Farzad Shams a.h. . . named and unnamed intend to take us through an inner journey deep listening. Meditation in motion, turn, Sama, Sufi poetry and original Persian lyrics of Rumi, Hafiz . . . Etc sang / presented by the wonderful Vancouver & Toronto musicians . . . May it be Love . . .
