Rosewood Gallery was founded in 1994 in the heart of the picturesque Connaught Village, a few minutes away from the iconic Hyde Park, London.
When it first opened, the focus of the Gallery was to source and showcase the finest contemporary hand-made rugs from Persia and antique interiors. Driven by the professional knowledge of the newly joined partners, Rosewood Gallery further expanded its collection to Antique and Modern carpets from the “Rug belt” region, including Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, China, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Armenia. Today, the Gallery also offers hand-knotted contemporary carpets made by the most prestigious artisans from Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India.
